Police department prepares for brutal parking wars with 'Game of Cones'

Winter is cominghere and it's about to bring a ton of snow.

In preparation for a snowy weekend, the Philadelphia Police Department is reminding residents about parking laws in the best possible way: with Game of Thrones puns.

To urge people not to save parking spots with cones or household objects during inclement weather, which they astutely labeled "Game of Cones," the department shared a post from its Facebook page featuring everyone's favorite back-from-the-dead character, Jon Snow.

"Jon Snow may know nothing," the department wrote, "but even he knows that the Game of Cones is about to begin anew."

"With snow expected tonight into tomorrow, parking wars will commence as people everywhere begin placing their favorite household item to save 'their' parking spot ... and saving spots is illegal."

"Winter is here -- and there is still a long time to go. Shovel and share," they finished.
